Fraser Burial Site and Trail
Tour Road Stop 10

View of an area of mown grass and field grass,
on a ridge overlooking part of the Hudson River. Two cannons in the near distance
point out over the river valley. White posts with red tops outline the cannon position.

A one-mile loop trail passes the traditional grave site of General Fraser, mortally wounded during the second battle of Saratoga. Beyond the grave site, the trail continues on the sites of the British hospital, artillery park, baggage area, and the Taylor House, where Fraser died. (Portions of the Old Champlain Canal may also be along the trail.)
