The orientation center

The Orientation Center, an 18th Century warehouse.

The Custom House, built in 1819 to house the operations of the U.S. Customs Service in the Port of Salem.

Friendship of Salem, a replica of a 1797 East Indiaman.

The Derby House, built in 1762.
The Public Stores, at the rear of the Custom House, housed cargos from around the world.
The three wharves of Salem Maritime NHS date back to the eighteenth century.
The Hawkes House, a beautiful example of a Federal style home.
The Scale House, behind the Custom House, was where U.S. Customs Service equipment was kept.
The West India Goods Store, built around 1800.
St. Joseph Hall, built in 1903.
The Salem Visitor Center is located five blocks from the waterfront, in a building that was once the Salem Armory.
