THE "SITUADO" (ALLOWANCE) AND THE MATERIALS USED
IN THE CONSTRUCTION
In the blank space on the left, enter the number which indicates the order in which the following steps take place:
| _______ | Insert the pin into the firing hole and break open the cartridge bag. |

Pray to Santa Barbara to ensure a well-aimed shot. |
| _______ | Clean the bore with the wet sponge and repeat the firing process. |
| _______ | Insert the cartridge in the bore and push it into the breach with the ram. |
| _______ | Use the gun searcits to search for breaks in the bore. |
| _______ | Point the cannon using the levers and the aiming wedges |
| _______ | LOAD, ELEVATE, AIM, FIRE!!! |
| _______ | Remove the pin and replace it with a primer. |
| _______ | Clean the bore with the wet sponge |
| _______ | Fire the primer with the fuse match |
| _______ | Use the spoon to remove the unfired cartridge |
| _______ | Move the cannon to the embrasure |
| _______ | Use the rasp and the wormer to remove the residue and the accumulation of burned powder in the bore as necessary. |
