The formation at Roche Harbor

David Funk relays a signal to the gunners for one of three salutes that was fired during the ceremony at Roche Harbor Resort. Meanwhile, the ladies primped. The Royal Marines claimed Roche Harbor as part of their reservation during the joint occupation of San Juan island.
The fife and drum unit
The Fife and Drum Corps contingent were a new and successful addition to Encampment in 2004, giving a musical voice to the U.S. formations and matching the pipe band note for note.

Sugar on the Floor
The Northwest MacGregor Pipe Band for the fourth year provided music for retreat and other occasions throughout the weekend, while Sugar on the Floor played two dates during the day and for the Candlelight Ball on Saturday evening. Sugar is (from) left Darlene Wahl, Ken Arzarian, Lee McEnery and Michael Cohen.
