From Main Street, turn west on Spring
Street/Santa Fe Trail and proceed 1 mile to park entrance (Parkway Drive). The
overlook is of the Missouri River and the Boone's Lick/Franklin region, where
William Becknell commenced and ended his first trip on the Santa Fe Trail.
