Guided Ranger Activities


The Division of Interpretation offers guided ranger programs throughout the year at Prince William Forest Park. Join a park ranger for a guided walk, talk or evening slide show. These programs are free to attend, however, there is an entrance fee required to gain access to the park. Attending a ranger program will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the park.

Some programs are by reservation only. Please call the visitor center at 703-221-7181 to make reservations for specific programs.

Visitor Center Hours

Visitor center - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Daily.
For a self-guided tour of the park, a ten-minute orientation video and exhibit area is available at the visitor center.
