Group Cabin Camp Rental Information

Cabin Camp Five Prince William Forest Park administers five cabin camps. Each camp is composed of groups of small, historical wooden structures built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the 1930s.

A central dining hall with a commercial size oven and refrigerator, spacious counter and a large area for dining is located within each group camp. All cabins and dormitories are equipped with single cots and mattresses. Facilities for hot showers and flush toilets are located centrally in each camp. None of the camps have air conditioning. Mops, brooms and toilet tissue are provided. Campers must bring their own bedding, cookware, cleaning supplies, tableware, trash bags, soap and first aid supplies.

Please note: Cabin Camps 1- 4 close during the winter season, as none of the cabins are heated. Cabin Camp 5 (Camp Happyland) is heated, and is therefore open year-round.

Reservations are required for Group Cabin Camps 1, 2, 4, 5 and C Unit of Cabin Camp 3. A $25 non-refundable application fee must be mailed with your application.

Day-use cost for any of the camps is $125 (8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.). Call (703) 221-5843 for cabin reservations. Grills will cost $25 to reserve.

Be sure to designate a group leader on your application. This individual will assume responsibility for seeing that all campers are informed of, and comply with, park rules and regulations. This person must be with the goup while the camp is occupied.

It is also possible to rent individual cabins.
