CATALOG OF VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

The National Park Service has traditionally relied heavily upon volunteers to help achieve its mission of preserving, protecting and presenting the natural and cultural resources under our care. That need for volunteer assistance has never been greater than today. Within this catalog, you will find various positions designed to allow personal growth and professional development while serving the American People. Many positions involve personal contact with the public, while others take you into the field for direct, hands-on experience with the resources of the park.

Presently we have VIP positions open for:

Visitor Services
Interpreter (Prerequisite: Visitor Services)
Education Assistant
Photographer
Research Assistant/Librarian
Horse Care
Biological Inventory Assistant
Water Quality Monitor
Earthworks and Trails
Lawn and Garden Care
Litter Control

For further information please contact our VIP coordinator at (804) 732-0171 or fill out the form and send it.
