All animals at Petrified Forest National Park are protected. Please do not pick up lizards or snakes and keep your distance from larger animals. If you are close enough to catch their attention, you are too close!

Do not feed wildlife - there is plenty for them to eat in the healthy grassland ecosystem within the park.
