Management

The Department of the Interior through the National Park Service and Bureau of Land Management manages federal lands within the Monument. Joint management responsibility offers both agencies a highly visible opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities in resource stewardship and management effectiveness.

Elevation ranges from 1,500 feet above sea level near Grand Wash Bay at Lake Mead, to over 8,000 feet at Mount Trumbull. Information, Permits, and Maps
