Park Finder Species List
We are pleased to announce the launch of on-line Nature Guides for parks. This is the culmination of a three-year effort in partnership with the National Wildlife Federation’s Enature.com, and in the last year with ALL Species Foundation and Discover Life in America. The Nature Guides will greatly enhance visits to a park’s web site by adding a large gallery of photos, sounds, and educational descriptions for selected species for each park. The selected species are a subset of verified lists developed in the NPS biodiversity database, NPSpecies. The Nature Guides also highlight new species discoveries in parks (new to science) and significant finds such as range extensions and significant new populations.
