Mountain Hemlock Zone
Where found: Middle to upper elevations,
below the Subalpine Zone; moist.
This zone receives heavy winter snowfall and moisture is common during summers months. Habitat is characterized by meadows and clumps of mountain hemlock and subalpine firs.
