2001 List

Birds counted during the Landbird Inventory in North Cascades during the 2001 field season are listed below. Many of these species are migratory and leave North Cascades seasonally. Some go as far as Alaska and Central America and a few migrate toward the East Coast. This is not a complete list of species that may be found at the Park. For a complete list, order a checklist from the Northwest Interpretive Association. Species with asterisks may spend the entire year or lifetime in North Cascades.
