Ecological Cycles

Teachers, discuss with your class the concept of natural cycles by describing the yearly migration of eagles and salmon to the Skagit River. Ask your students to name other cycles in nature. List these on the left side of the board. Then ask them to describe processes that are not cyclic. List these on the right side of the board. Have your students discuss the differences and similarities between the left and the right lists.
