The story of Nez Perce National Historical Park and Big Hole National Battlefield are told in a set of administrative histories published in the late 1990s. Two works on the Nez Perce War are also available in a digital format - Forlorn Hope on the battle at White Bird and Nez Perce Summer on the role of the U.S. Army in the 1877 war.
