- Led by national park volunteers these tours highlight the national historical park. Tours last approximately 1 hour. Free.

AHA! (Art, History, Architecture) Thursday Nights in the City

Theme: "Creation on Location"

Location: Downtown New Bedford galleries, museums, and cultural and art institutions open free to the public.
Time: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m

Held the second Thursday of each month. Pick up an AHA! event program at the visitor center and experience the wealth of arts and culture in downtown New Bedford. For more information visit the AHA! website at www.ahanewbedford.org


Thursday Evenings in the Park


Walking Tours
Led by volunteers these tours highlight the national historical park. Coincides with late hours at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and other local cultural institutions. Tour lasts approximately 1 hour. Free.

Music Concerts
All performances are free and take place in the Visitor Center garden unless otherwise noted. Limited seating is available. We invite you to bring lawn chairs. In case of rain, performances will be moved to the New Bedford Whaling Museum.

Saturday Maritime Music and Craft Series
Music performances and craft demonstrations are free and will begin at the National Park Visitor Center, 33 William Street, New Bedford, MA.
