New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park operates a bookstore located in the park visitor center. Eastern National, a non-profit cooperating association that returns an annual profit directly to the park, is responsible for book sales in the park.

The park's bookstore carries almost 100 titles representing New Bedford's whaling and maritime history, local interests, and the city's connection to the Underground Railroad, as well as popular national park publications. The bookstore also has maps, videos, audio tapes, postcards and many other items that pertain to the themes of the park. Some of the most popular books are listed below.
