The fireworks display at Mount Rushmore National Memorial will be held on July 3, 2006. The surrounding communities in the area have fireworks displays on the 4th. Mount Rushmore will host music and other performances for audiences young and old on July 3rd and 4th.

Other important information: The fireworks display is held on July 3rd, weather permitting. There are fireworks displays in the surrounding communities on the 4th. Parking at the park fills up early in the afternoon and seats in the amphitheater are filled by mid-morning. We do not have picnic or grilling facilities at the park. Bring cold lunches or you can purchase meals from the restaurant or ice cream and hot dog vendors on site.

Vehicles, as well as bags, coolers, strollers and other containers may be subject to search.
