"Where the Rivers Begin" is an educational exploration of the rivers and forests of Mount Rainier National Park. This CD-ROM for PCs and Macs provides educators and students an opportunity to learn about the glaciers, glacial rivers, old-growth forests, and natural and human history of the area. It also introduces some of the social and political concerns affecting the national park. Pre-trip, on-site, and post-trip activities target middle school students. Student worksheets, and resource materials are included. This interactive program is available for purchase through:
