Mount Rainier National Park Paradise Construction black banner with National Park Service arrowhead

Construction efforts have significantly reduced parking in the immediate Paradise area. To avoid parking congestion consider visiting Paradise on weekdays, early or late in the day, or schedule excursions to other areas of the park, take an alternate route, and experience the sights and activities of gateway communities during peak hours and weekends.

Parking is currently available in the visitor center lot, day use and overnight lot, and along the Paradise Valley Road. Be prepared to park along the Paradise Valley Road and walk back up to Paradise. Passenger drop off is available at the visitor center in the lower lot. RV's and vehicles with a combined length exceeding 20 feet must park on the Paradise Valley Road.

Buses drop off passengers in the lower lot at the visitor center and park in designated bus parking only. Limited bus parking is available in the designated area of the upper lot with overflow parking downhill from Paradise.

Check back for changing information on the parking situation at Paradise.
