Ranger talks are offered at Hole-in-the-Wall Information Center during the busy season. Check campground bulletin boards and information centers for current information. Rangers can also provide talks and tours for organized groups. To schedule a program, contact one of our Mojave Desert Information Centers. Mitchells Cavern Natural Preserve, part of the Providence Mountains State Recreation Area, offers tours through remarkable limestone caverns. Tour times vary throughout the year, so either call Mitchell Caverns at (760)928-2586 or try one of the Mojave Desert Information Centers.
