The exhibit, entitled "The Wayside: The House, Its
Authors and the Creation of An American Literary Heritage"
features lifesize cast figures of the Wayside authors in typical
activities. Here, Bronson Alcott writes in his journal while
his teenage daughter, Louisa, plays the part of Count Rodolpho
in her play Norna; Or, The Witches Curse. Scenes from
her play and passages from letters and journals in the authors'
own words are dramatically recreated in an audio program. |
