HOME OWNERS MUST BEGIN EVICTION ACTION AT ONCE

Two or three months are frequently needed to remove a tenant from the residence he is presently occupying, whether the residence is owned by the evacuee, or by one of his children, according to an announcement received from the office of Project Attorney Alan G. Campbell.

"Many owners of homes are surprised to find that the two or three weeks they have allowed themselves for the legal procedure is insufficient, and as a result they have had to delay their relocation plans," stated Mr. Campbell today.

"Even though they may not plan to leave the center until late November, I urge all parents who plan to return to their home, or one owned by their children, to come to my office so that I may begin at once on the procedures necessary to remove the present tenant. In obstinate cases sixty or ninty days are sometimes necessary to complete the eviction", Mr. Campbell stated.
