Entrance Fees:

16 and under: Free
17 and above: $3.00
Passes are good for three days from date of issue.

Annual Park Pass: $20.00
National Parks Pass: $50.00
Golden Age Passport (62 and older): $10.00

Film Manassas: End of Innocence
16 and under: Free
17 and above: $3.00
The fee for this  45-minute film is in addition to the park entrance fee.  Manassas: End of Innocence is directed by Academy Award winner Ben Burtt. The film shows each day, every hour on the hour starting at 9:00 a.m. with the last show at 4:00 p.m. The program is captioned for the benefit of the hearing impaired.

Hours of Operation:  The park is open daily during daylight hours.

Henry Hill Visitor Center 
Open: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Closed on Thanksgiving and December 25.
Facilities include a Museum, the Film "Manassas: End of Innocence,"  Eastern National Bookstore, and  Restrooms. The Henry Hill Visitor Center is located on Sudley Road.

Directions:  

  • From Washington D.C.:
    Interstate 66 West to Exit 47B, Business Route 234 North.
    Proceed through the first traffic light.
    Make second right.
    Henry Hill Visitor Center is located at the top of the hill.

  • From Points South:
    Interstate 95 North to Exit 152, Route 234
    At traffic light make left on to Route 234 North.
    Follow Route 234 North for approximately 20 miles.
    After traveling under Interstate 66, proceed through the first traffic light.
    Make second right.
    Henry Hill Visitor Center is located at the top of the hill.

  • From Points West:
    Interstate 66 East to Exit 47A, Business Route 234 North.
    Proceed through the first traffic light
    Make second right.

Tour the Battlefield:

Self-Guided walking tours:

  • Henry Hill: A mile long loop trail with four push button tape recorded messages and interpretive signs tells the story of the First Battle of Manassas.

  • First Manassas: A five mile long loop trail covers the ground that was contested on July 21, 1861.

  • Second Manassas: A five mile long loop trail crosses the key terrain of the three day long battle.

Ranger Guided Walking Tour:

  • Henry Hill Walking Tour: 45 minute Ranger guided program covering the events of the First Battle of Manassas. Starts at the Henry Hill Visitor Center.  Offered daily through the summer.  Call for schedule.

Self Guided Driving Tour & Virtual Tours: 

  • Second Manassas: This 13 mile driving tour is designed to cover 11 sites that figured prominently in the second battle.

  • Virtual Tours:  Take a tour of the battlefields of Manassas while sitting at your computer. The First Manassas tour follows the trail along the top of Henry Hill, scene of the heaviest fighting of the battle. The Second Manassas tour traces the 13 mile driving tour covering the sights of the three day long battle.

While visiting please observe the following:

  • Climbing on cannons and monuments is not allowed.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash.
  • Picnic tables are located at Stuart's Hill
  • Both alcoholic beverages and hunting for relics are strictly forbidden.
  • Park in designated areas only.
  • All motorized vehicles must stay on established roadways and are prohibited on shoulders, grassy areas, and trails.
  • Use caution riding bicycles on roads.  Bicycles are prohibited on all trails.
