A Brief Visit

"The Worker"

Realistic bronze sculpture of  a man using a large pry-bar type of tool.

"The Worker", constructed by Ivan and Elliot Schwartz, represents the early Irish workers whose hard work dug the canal system which supplied water to the mills. The figure is a life- sized bronze sculpture of a canal builder poised as though moving a section of canal wall.
