A Brief Visit

St. Anne's Church and Rectory

Gray Stone Church

St. Anne's Church and Rectory are among the oldest standing structures in Lowell. In 1825, the Merrimack Manufacturing Company built the church for its growing workforce. The "mill girls" were required to attend services, and had pew rent deducted directly from their wages in the early years of the church's history.
