Final Rule allowing for continued use of PWCs on 95% of Lakes Mead and Mohave published April 9, 2003.

PWCs are allowed on about 95% of Lakes Mead and Mohave. Our settlement agreement with the Bluewater Network gave us an extension until April 10, 2003 to accomplish the following:

1. Get our Final Lake Management Plan/Environmental Impact Statement published (Completed: January 2003)

2. Publish the Record of Decision (Completed: April 8, 2003)

3. Publish a Final Rule (Completed: April 9, 2003)

All 3 requirements have been met and the ban will not go into effect.
