| Late summer and fall rains created favorable conditions for birds. Stock
dams were mostly full, and water was present in many potholes. American
Goldfinch was a new bird for the count. Sixty-three species is a high total
for the Joshua Tree count. Bold numbers indicate high totals for the Joshua
Tree count. |
