Plant Life Documented By Lewis &
Clark
As Lewis and Clark crossed the continent between 1804 and 1806,
they made note of any
new plant or animal species they saw. Meriwether Lewis in particular
had received a "crash course" in plant and animal identification
and classification before the expedition began. The following is
a list of all the plants noted by Lewis and Clark on their Voyage
of Discovery.
