Completed in 1862, the Old Courthouse provides a unique learning environment. Its elaborately decorated rotunda, restored courtrooms, and St. Louis history galleries, make it an attractive place for visits year-round.
It is important that you plan your visit as far in advance as possible. Reservations for school programs must be made at least one month in advance. Reservations for the following school year begin on the first business day of June. Phone our reservationist at (voice) 314-655-1700 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The reservationist will need to know:
- Your preferred date and time
- The program
- The name of the accompanying leader and a time when he/she can be contacted
- Number of children and the number of adults attending
- A complete address and telephone number
- Any specific needs
A reservation slip, an informational letter, a teacher/leader activity guidebook, and an evaluation form will be sent to you. The park ranger assigned to your program will contact you via fax or telephone to discuss the details of your visit. To cancel a reservation, please notify our reservationist at (voice) 314-655-1700 as soon as possible. If you are unable to attend, others may be able to use your space.
All programs are aligned with Missouri, Illinois, and national learning standards.
