Arch Accessibility
The Gateway Arch lobby and Museum of Westward Expansion are accessible by ramps located throughout the building. A touch-screen interactive computer/video kiosk, located in the lobby of the Gateway Arch, provides information on most aspects of the park. Through this program, individuals or small groups can visit the "Top of the Arch" and learn more about other services and facilities in the memorial. Due to the architectural design of the top of the Arch, wheelchairs and strollers are not allowed. The following are also available: Accessible rest rooms are located in the lobby near the ticket center. A family assist restroom is available near the Odyssey Theatre. Tucker Theater and Odyssey Theatre are both accessible to visitors using wheelchairs, and through audio enhancement devices available for both films. Both theaters have films that are open captioned. Audio enhancement devices for ranger-led museum programs are available at the information desk.
Audio description services are available for "Monument to the Dream." Written scripts for movies are available at the information desk. An interactive kiosk provides accessibility about the upper floors of the Old Courthouse.
