American Sign Language Interpretation
Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (JNEM) and St. Louis Community College at Florissant Valley have formed a unique partnership to benefit memorial visitors who are deaf.
The American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters are students in their final year of the Deaf Communications Program at Florissant Valley. These programs provide students with practical experience needed to become professional interpreters. Students welcome comments and suggestions from program participants who are deaf.
For more information concerning park ranger programs interpreted in ASL at JNEM, call (voice) 314-655-1700 Monday through Friday.
