P.S. Most of this entry was fictional. It is known that a man named Willard Leakins was discharged from the Corps for theft on February 4, 1804. Other men named Higgins and Hennebery were also mentioned in Clark's field notes who didn't make the final cut, and were not allowed to go on the Lewis and Clark expedition.
