The Wolves and Moose of Isle Royale
International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota
The worlds longest running predator prey research project the 46th year of the wolf and moose monitoring program continued in January through March of 2005. This annual "Winter Study" project provides the best opportunities for aerial surveying of the wolf and moose populations, with leaves off the trees and snow on the ground. More detailed information may be obtained inexpensively in the visitor centers for Isle Royale National Park or through the mail.
