Below are the schedule and fees for the Wenonah out of Grand Portage. The schedule is based on Central Daylight Time.
The Wenonah travels daily from June 19 through September 19. It leaves Grand Portage at 9:30 a.m. daily en route to Windigo. It then leaves Windigo at 3:00 p.m. (4:00 p.m. EDT) daily en route back to Grand Portage.
Along the way are views of Rock of Ages Lighthouse and the site of the America shipwreck.
Fares for adults are $36.00 one-way and $40.00 same day round trip. Children (4 through 11 years old) are $20.00 one-way and $20.00 same day round trip. Infants through 3 years old are FREE.
Regular canoes and single kayaks are $28.00.
Large single, tandem kayaks are $32.00
Large tandem, triple kayaks, call for rate.
Outboard motors (emptied of fuel) are $16.00 to $32.00.
Fuel tanks for outboard motors (emptied of fuel) are $5.00
Air tanks are $9.00 each.
Additional freight after 40 pounds is $28.00 per 100 pounds.
