In a pers. comm. with Larry Kallemeyn, who conducted a fish survey
of 32 of ISRO's 42 named lakes in 1995 and 1996, he stated that he
did not observe any mudpuppies and none of his field crew reported
seeing any. |

Necturus
maculosus |
| Synonym. Currently known as
Necturus maculosus maculosus. Found in 1905, but not since, in Benson
Creek (Daisy Farm) and Summer Lake. However, Harding and Holman (1992)
illustrate the mudpuppy as present on ISRO in their state distribution
map. |
