Horseshoe Bend National Military Park visitation for the past 10 years is shown below. Variations in the amount of annual visitation can be contributed to many factors. The economy and weather are just a few of these factors. Visitation at the park is heavier during the spring through early fall months. Weekend visitation is usually higher than week day. School, church and organizations visits make up for the majority of our visitation during the weekdays.

Special events are held on Saturday and Sundays throughout the year and bring many visitors to the park. The local community utilizes the park on a regular daily and weekly basis. The nature trail and tour road are used for walking, running and general exercise along with those that want to view the wildlife in the park.
