Fathead minnow (U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service)
Fishes occur in Hoover Creek, a tributary of Wapsinonoc Creek, when base flow is stable. Visitors commonly see Cyprinforms, including creek chub and unidentified minnows. Park staff provided anecdotal reports of sucker activity in the creek, but inventory data do not support the observation.
