Take A Tour There are ten bedrooms on the third floor; they were primarily used as children's bedrooms. A Nanny, however, and "unimportant guests" also resided here. |
The
Cupola allows a splendid view of the countryside, and ventilates the house.
Hot air rises up and out the windows, drawing fresh air in the windows of
the lower floors. |
Access
to the cupola is via a cantilevered stairway, a splendid example of the
carpenter's art. |
