Event Venues

There are two venues for the events both in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Most events will take place at the Camp Hill venue. The Saturday 8:00p.m., Preservation Hall Jazz Concert will take place at the Bolivar Heights venue.

Main Event Venue – Camp Hill

Drive to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park off of highway 340 in Harpers Ferry, WV. Park at the park’s visitor center and take the free shuttle bus to the main event venue at Camp Hill in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park.

Preservation Hall Jazz Concert – Bolivar Heights Venue

The Preservation Hall Jazz Concert, 8:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, will be held at Bolivar Heights in Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. Drive to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park off of highway 340 in Harpers Ferry, WV. Follow the signs to parking at Bolivar Heights.

Directions

From the East

From the Baltimore, MD area – Approximately 60 minutes. Take I-70 west to Frederick. Take U.S. 340 west and follow approximately twenty miles to Harpers Ferry. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the left.

From the Frederick, MD area – approximately 25 minutes. Take U.S. 340 west to Harpers Ferry. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the left.

From the Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia area – approximately 70 minutes. Take the beltway to I-270. In Frederick MD, Merge onto I-70 west and merge immediately onto U.S. 340 west and follow approximately twenty miles to Harpers Ferry. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the left.

From the North

From the Chambersburg, PA area – approximately 50 minutes. Take I-81 south to West Virginia. Get off Exit 12 and make left to Route 9 east. Follow Route 9 approximately fourteen miles to U.S. 340 toward Harpers Ferry WV. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the right.

From the Hagerstown, MD area – approximately 45 minutes. Take I-81 south into West Virginia. Get off Exit 12 and make left to Route 9 east. Follow Route 9 approximately fourteen miles to U.S. 340 toward Harpers Ferry WV. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the right.

From the South

From the Harrisonburg VA area – approximately 90 minutes. Take I-81 North to exit 315 for Route 7 east. Follow Route 7 east to U.S. 340 north toward Charles Town, WV. Follow U.S. 340 around Charles Town. Follow the signs to Harpers Ferry, WV and to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The park entrance is on the right.
