| JULY 7-8, 2003 PHOTO GALLERY Meriwether Lewis Returns to Harpers Ferry Event Photos Harpers Ferry National Historical Park presented a two-day program titled "Meriwether Lewis Returns to Harpers Ferry" on July 7-8, 2003 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Lewis' 1803 visit. The weekend featured music, scholarship, and living history programs along with the unveiling of a new West Virginia State Historical Marker on Lewis & Clark. These photos depict many of the activities, performances, and programs which took place during the two-day event. |
