Peregrine falcon tracking map
Map Updated Monday, July 15, 2002

All falcons with transmitters remained in the Harpers Ferry area. Feeding will be discontinued this week as it appears that all falcons are now feeding on their own. We haven't seen any of the males for about a week. Shawn Padgett who provides us with the satellite data feels that something may be wrong with Falcon 9/C (yellow dots). The data being received from her transmitter is poor quality which may indicate that she is down. However, it could be a problem with the transmitter or her feathers covering the solar cells. If she is down, we should know soon when the birds begin to leave the area.. [Learn more about satellite tracking].
