GEORGE WASHINGTON MEMORIAL PARKWAY UPDATE ON CLOSURES DUE TO HURRICANE ISABEL

November 10, 2003

The Dyke Marsh Wildlife Preserve and the Swamp Trail/Boardwalk on Theodore Roosevelt Island remain closed until further notice.

The following sites have reopened:

The Mount Vernon Trail is now open for public use. However, trail users should be careful of storm and construction debris alongside the trail. The debris should be removed within the next week and is not considered a safety concern.

Potomac Heritage Trail

Theodore Roosevelt Island (Swamp Trail Boardwalk closed)

Fort Marcy

Turkey Run Loop Trail

Belle Haven Marina
