Environmental Impact Statement
for Arlington County and Vicinity
Rowing Facility
 
We are pleased to announce the initiation of the Environmental Impact Statement for Arlington County and Vicinity Rowing Facility. The goal of the Environmental Impact Statement, or EIS, is to study the sites identified in the 2002 Facility & Site Analysis and determine a preferred alternative according to the guidelines of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969 and National Park Service policies and mandates.


Please read the newsletter (links below) and join us at a public open house that will be held June 21, 2004 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Arlington County Government Building, 2100 Clarendon Boulevard, Conference Rooms C&D in the lobby. Parking is available in the building and it is Metro-accessible via the Orange Line at Court House Station.
