Cicindela theatina
Found nowhere else in the world, this endemic species of tiger beetle
hosts a unique coloration and wing pattern. This voracious species of
beetle preys on other insects during all stages of its life. As a larvae,
it burrows into the sand waiting for unsuspecting insects to pass above.
As an adult, it attacks on the fly.
