Greenbelt Park, NCP East and Yorktown Elementary School have started a Partnership in Education. The partnership is a mutually supportive arrangement between the National Park Service-Greenbelt Park and Yorktown Elementary School. Both partners commit to activities to benefit students and help accomplish school improvement goals resulting in increased student achievement. This is the second partner in education for Greenbelt Park, NCP East in its fifty-year history. Greenbelt Park became a part of the National Park Service in 1950.
The first partnership was Berwyn Heights Elementary School.
