Trails
While hiking, carry with you plenty of water, food, and layers of clothing.
Watch out for hypothermia, the possibility of snow on the trail, and sudden snow storms.

 

Alpine Lakes Loop and Bristelcone Trail Access from Bristlecone Trailhead.
Baker Lake Trail Access from Baker Creek Road.
Johnson Lake Trail Route finding difficult. Access from Baker Creek Road or Snake Creek Road.
Lehman Creek Trail Access from the Upper Lehman Campground.
Lexington Arch Trail High clearance and four-wheel drive vehicles recommended.
Wheeler Peak Summit Trail Access from Summit Trailhead. Check at the visitor center for weather forecasts: do not hike if electrical storms are forecasted. In case of electrical storms, descend immediately.
