Volunteer John Ott provides NPS Director Robert Stanton
with an orientation to Golden Spike National Historic Site

John has dedicated thousands of hours to the National Park Service in the last few years. He has volunteered at Golden Spike National Historic Site, Chiracuaha National Monument, and Fort Davis National Historic Site. His dedication and hard work go above and beyond the normal scope of duties associated with the volunteer program, and his work has recently been recognized by National Park Service Director, Robert Stanton. He received the Honorary Park Ranger Award on August 14th, 1999 during the park's annual Railroader's Festival.
