We realize that many people are unable to
visit us in person, so we've created a sort of
Golden Spike National Historic Site in cyber space.
A place where you can explore and learn all about
the completion of the first transcontinental
railroad. A place where you can see our resident
steam locomotives Jupiter and No. 119
or take a virtual ride along the original railbed
on the Promontory Trail Auto Tour. Our visitor
center is filled with many wonderful exhibits,
nearly all on display right here on the web. If you
are planning on visiting us you can check out the

get an idea of what to expect when you arrive. Have
a little extra time on your hands? Go to the
