Golden Spike National Historic Site is home to the steam locomotives Jupiter and #119. These engines are fully-functional replicas of the original locomotives that met here on May 10, 1869, for the "Wedding of the Rails Ceremony" The Steam Locomotives are on display and running daily from May 1 through Labor Day. The locomotives operate between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 4:30p.m. (Subject to change without notice) Photo runs only, no rides are available. During Winter the locomotives are in the Engine House for repairs and clean up. Rangers conduct Engine House tours Saturday and Sunday.
